This thing...what is it's purpose? ~pokes again~ Ah! I know:
Sitting comfortably in one-of-those-really-nifty-spinny chairs, a sixteen ten seventeen year-old girl stared at a pretty screen with many colors on it. Little did she know that it was actually called "monitor." All she knew was that it was super duper pretty and bright, especially in the dark room.
She was known by many names, alias, and stuff. Yes, from her real name to "duude watch where you're going," and--her favorite--"hey, you," she had many names. Most commonly on the internet, however, she was known as the silly-and-seeminglyandprobalyis-stupid-duude-who-you-probabldy-don't-realize-she-exists-and-says-nothing-important fireclaw. Yes. She was known as fireclaw for more than four years even though her nickname did not fit her. Well, half didn't fit. She liked claws. They were her favorite weapon. But, even though she considered fire to be quite an alluring thing (read: fire! pretty!), she was very much a tree person.
More recently she gained a newer nickname that fit her better: "Vindictive Forest Spirit" which was a play on her Chinese name. This was shortened to "VinForSpi" and then to "Vin." So...fireclaw should call herself Vin but she had been refering to herself as fireclaw for too long so habit triumphed.
Anyway...
After much mad clickage with the rabbit, (she refused to call it a mouse because it was white and pretty and who would prefer a mouse to a non-fluffy bunny?) she suddenly appeared onto this "edit profile" screen. She blinked, stared, and decided most definitely it would be fun to write utter nonsense here.
And so, she did.

WHO

Kyasor. Our world is an archipelago, unexplored and uninhabited except for two islands: Aiacus, the big island, and Nysthera. The rules of this world are the same as yours -- but there are forces available to us in Kyasor that no human mind could hope to wield.
WHEN
The Present. Some might say we are not as technologically advanced as humans, but to quote the old adage: "necessity is the mother of invention". Our needs are met by magic, but as we evolve, new needs demand novel technology to extend our influence over the world. Our world is not stagnant -- it grows with us, changes with us, adapts with us. The entire face of the universe may be changed by a single innovative soul…
WHAT
