You know, I can't bring myself to feel angry anymore. Like totally emotionally drained and everything. Granted I did explode yesterday so maybe I'm still feeling the lack of caring and drainage from then but that's besides what I wanted to post about although perhaps I'm using at a rationalization or something. All just seems kinda amusing now. I mean, it's ridiculous. ~laughs~
I don't think any part of me is "correct" in my dad's eye. I mean, he spent the last twenty minutes nagging about my stuff animals. STUFFED ANIMALS!! That and how because I like tigers and everything that it means that the tigers all rub off on me and makes me all scary. /chinese superstitious ~snorts~ I guess the thing about company keeping also includes one's stuffed animals. Okies, fine, perhaps I am all scary and angry and intimidating all the time because of my tiger stuffed animals--then what's his excuse for being all grouchy? Then he all offers to buy me other "cuter" ones and just ~headdesks~ Oh yeah! Because of said stuffed animals I'll never get a boyfriend and just like ~chuckles~ Excuse me for finding it all incredulous.
...and then he points to my bro's turtles and is all like "they're cute and everyone likes them! Why can't you be like that too?" ~headdesk headdesk headdesk~ I think I'll just giggle insanely and go take a nap in hopes that it will get rid of this headache instead of multiplying it. I'm sure the headdesking isn't helping either.
Gawd, seriously, not a minute to self. And I'm called for again! Because I was gone all year they're definitely making up for lost time.
edit: And the morale of this anecdote is for me to carry around...green tofu! Or um ~looks around~ a unicorn? Ah, maybe not that, those horns are DANGEROUS you know!!
