oh, what a productive day...
Like what the subject thing said. Such a "productive day." Well I finished writing my stupid English paper and it looks alright now. I just hope I don't get angry at it and scrape it at like...12AM Monday with the intentions of rewriting a 10 page monster and turning it in at four. X__X Knowing me, probably will happen.

I didn't get any of D10 done and it's going to take a miracle AND a fireclaw in the right mood to even TRY to finish it tomorrow...or even a paragraph. I wrote self into a hole, it's all dramatic and the setting is so stifling for even me to read it and there's no way...

Anyways, went to Borders. Don't know what possessed me to, but I started reading Twilight. I only got halfway through because I ran into some friends and we just messed around and talked a lot. It's rather sad, the friends that I manage to make this year are mostly seniors and they're graduating...urgh. As for the book so far, well...it's not bad but it's still like...utterly cliche? Heh, it's a high school story AND a vampire thing--the fact that I don't hate it and will probably finish it in my next go is, well, heh. ~shrugs~ Seeing how I'm leaving Thurs and I'm done Monday--well technically with the paper done, I'm done already...might as well go through the other book too.

...now that I think about it, I think I skipped the whole teen period books, well at least the really girly ones. Though um, in the sumemer I did end up reading a couple Gossip Girls of all things. o_O ...one of the girls on the Taiwan trip brought them along and because I was bored and stuff, traded my Yotsubato! for them. It was um...informative? XP

Anyway, today has been an odd-ish day. LOL...ODDISH!!! ~geek~

TWILIGHT!

Oh wow, that book. Haven't read it but I've heard much about it. And it is cliche. The fact that the vampires' skins supposedly sparkle like diamonds in the sun tell me that I don't want to read it. ._o I like vampires, but have never much adored vampire teen romance novels. Especially not with the perfect, flawless ones.

If you do finish it, tell me if it's as good as my friends have said. :3 Hehehe.

ick sorry, I shouldn't be writing when my eyes are half closed. Let's try making a more coherent message this time:

I think I haven't gotten to the sparkly diamonds in the sun part. But that is totally plausible the way the story ish being told. @__@ And, oh gawd, how it just keeps going on and on about how perfect and flawless and pretty and handsome, and, oh, how Edward has these ultrawhite perfect teeth and crooked smile anand it makes me want to go bleeeh. Though it amuses me that the first hundred pages or so the duude was such a tsundere x10. XP

Okies! Will do!

LOL! Edward has ultrawhite teeth?! WHUT?! Doesn't that like... I mean where's the logic in that? The guy's a vampire! He drinks blood! Shouldn't that like stain? Oh man... xD Oh man lol!

Tsundere x10 eh? Wow ok... Next time I go to the bookstore I'm gonna pick that book up and skim through it. For the lulz. I wanna see why so many people fangirl Edward. ^-^

~shrugs~ I seriously I have no idea...and lol, that was my first thought too. Plus it's also like...fangs? Where's ze fangs? >.<

Well tsundere in that he's all like freaking cold one day and then all charming and caring literally the next day. And he's all like "oh noes, I shan't be close to you at all!" And like two days later he's all like "okies! I totally given up being all cold and stuff! I shall fall with style--but you really shouldn't be close to me at all for I'm dangerous!! ~he gives serious face~ I'm totally dangerous and you shouldn't be close to me at all--and by the way, I care for you too."

fireclaw: ~facepalm~

Do it for the lulz, as you say it. But um, I don't fangirl him for he's a walking cliche. Though that's probably what he's so popular though--he's like a walking dream of perfection? And a vampire? X__X ~doesn't get it~

Yeah... Where are his fangs? Do they not mention them? Do they, like grow when he drinks blood? That sounds kinda painful if they do. >-<;

And wow. Ok yeah I really need to read this. ^-^ Seriously. It sounds like a lotta hilarity just waiting to ensue. Me, my sis, and my brother's gf would so totally love picking this apart. Especially my sister. She's such a critic and wouldn't wanna pass this up.

But um, I don't fangirl him for he's a walking cliche. Though that's probably what he's so popular though--he's like a walking dream of perfection? And a vampire? X__X ~doesn't get it~

:D This is true. Though, I feel like Twilight is one of those not-so-decent fanfics that gets praised endlessly by mindless readers. Sometimes.

lol, tis all good.

I'm not quite sure. I haven't gotten to that part yet. But I agree with the growing fang part sounding painful. As I haven't gotten to that point now, I shall like to imagine him filing his fangs away everyday with a nail filer or sandpaper just because it's a funny image.

Then you guys will have a field day. It just cries out to be picked up and mocked.

Ah, well, regardless of what I think, one should probably read it before making assumptions. But having read half of it, I'm will agree with your fanfic analogy. It's not really badly written though, for a YA book. It's just...cheesy. And it probably appeals to the mainstream audience because of all the cheese. I mean, like barely into the book Mr. Perfect saves hero lady from getting run over by an errant car by pushing her out of the way. ~rolls eyes~

Lol! :3 That is a funny image.

Yes, definitely cheesy from what I've heard. And I've heard a lot. Probably more than I kinda wish. ^-^ What does Mr. Perfect due whilst pushing her out of the way? Stand there with a car coming at him? o_o

urgh *picked apart, not up

LOL, really? Should I stop then, as I am giving you an earful/eyeful of it? And, yesh, more or less. First he's all far away and stuff and then suddenly he somehow manages to teleport to where she is, pushes her out of harms way and takes the brunt of the blow. And he leaves a pretty him-shaped dent in the car. ~snorts~

To be quite honest I'm rather enjoying what you're telling about the book so far. Far more entertaining than the usual rabid "EDWARDXBELLA!!1! OTP!!1" and variations of "EDWARD'S SO YUMMY/AMAZING/HAWT!!1" ^-^ So go on!

And wow. Dent in a car. Now he just sounds like Clark Kent. O_o;

Hehe. I'm glad to be of amusement to you. And, lol, I haven't really met any fangirls of Edward yet so this kinda comes as a surprise even though it really shouldn't in retrospect. ~shakes head~ >.< I'm sorry for liking my duudes far more complex and unpredictable? To borrow and paraphrase Tolstoy for a sec, even if happy people are boring and predictable, I think that a multifaceted and un-stereotypical person would at least make that happiness a little more fun.

Oh yesh, a regular Superman Mr. Perfectly Awesome!Vampire!duude is. And hero lady is a regular Lois Lane too as in she's constantly getting herself into trouble and begging to be saved. My goodness, seriously. It's like a few days after car crash she runs into shady guys.

^-^ Expect that kinda thing if you ever even glance at Twilight fandom. It's 'sposed to be quite, erm a little on the crazy side so I've heard. I peeked. I saw. I ran. o_o And uhh, kinda had to stare at that paraphrase for a second to understand it, but I did. Thus I agree. :]

Oi. The more I hear, the crackier it becomes. Now really, you're making me want to read this book. Quite the opposite from I ever expected from reviews and comments on Twilight. Shady guys? Like thugs? Regular thugs or like...dudes like Mr. Perfect?

Hmm, I imagine that the fandom would be on the crazy side, now that I think about it. All teenage fangirly--SQUEE!! and stuff. ~shivers~ And ^__^;; sorry about that, I probably should at least attempt to be more easily-understood analogies and references...

LOL, my goodness. I'm sorry? XPXP I'm just stating it as how it processed through my mind in the midst of constant snorts and facepalming and incredulous stares of "oh noes, she didn't just write that! o_O" Plus like, I guess other people take the story seriously and I just see it as crack. But it is awesome crack because tries to make everything dramatic!overtop!suspenseful!!!

Yesh, thugs. The type that backs a poor, innocent girl in the back of the alley type of thugs. And hero lady is like, "oh noes! Quick, let me think of all the self-defense things I can think of! Oh noes! whatever shall I do? What shall become of me?" and then like suddenly headlights from a car turns on! And who comes to her rescue but Mr. Perfectly Vampire-stalker duude (even though he's not even supposed to be close by). Vampire duude's all like "step away from the girl or I'll EAT you!! And you won't like me when I'm angry!"
