~exhaused ~
This is basically the first time I came back to my dorm since 7:00-ish last night. @__@ Small group pulled an all-nighter making blankets and stuff although I went to sleep at 3:00AM ish because of kendo in the morning. Oh yeah, MSU's CCF came here but no one I know was there. T__T
Kendo was good fun as always. First time I went out to lunch with everyone. >.< So very awesome. I can't wait to get my own shiny bogu although this "hump" thing everyone talks about sounds kinda scary.
Anyway, for I was tagged by dib:
Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
-----
1. Like dib and her friend, I can't sleep with anything on my feet. I hate shoes and stuff and even during class I'll take my shoes off and stuff. Socks are alright--just not shoes.
2. I almost never sit correctly. Like usually one or both of my legs are on the chair seat. I actually think and work better when I have my left knee propped up and I'm either sitting of my right foot or something similar. Also with chairs and stuff I usually just sit on the side--never facing forward. Same thing when I'm on couches. I usually am perched on one of the sides or something. It's more impulse than anything.
3. I'm probably one of the hardest people to get in contact with via cellphone. Unlike Sakura-chan who never brings her cellphone, I always have it but it's out of batteries. That or I forget it, don't turn it on, don't check until hours later.
4. Hmm, a really weird habit I have is like repeating random phrases to myself. It's kinda like a funky self-defense mechanism of suppression of things I don't want to remember. Well, at least it's a mature one...neways, like, I always remember all the stupid things I said or done for a long time and in order to kinda not dwell on it, there's comes the inane words. It's especially bad if its something recent. Like I'll keep on repeating something in my head or think really hard about a topic to a point that I drive myself insane and or get a massive headache.
5. I love syntax. It's such and odd thing to say, but I love sentence structure and stuff, just looking how a writer constructs it. That's probably why I love Woolf so much--she has killer syntax. I mean, have you check her mad usage of semi-colons, commas, and dashes? It's pure awesome madness, especially the semi-colons. It probably goes with how I'm more of a "feeler" than a "thinker" in a writing sense. I try to construct stuff that evokes emotion first and foremost. Thus usage of random metaphors and anything else I can think of.
6. If someone pets my hair my eyes instantly close and I get kinda drowsy.
7. I have a ridiculously hard time pronouncing and articulating words. Half the time I can't get out what I want to say, leading me to think that I actually don't have anything to say at all. As for the pronouncing thing, I can't say half the words in my vocabulary. For instance, it wasn't until junior or sophomore of high school that I knew that there was a difference between "orchid" and "orchard," leading to one of my famous silly quotes: "Roses are overrated, I prefer orchards."
8. I'm probably come off as really blunt when I talk. Half of it's probably because of the whole articulating issue, the other half is that I just am. I'm not good at the whole sugar-coating thing because I can't think that far. Then again, it depends on what mood you catch me in. Half the time I'm probably rather silent appear kinda moody/broody ~laughs~ and then the other half I'm more energetic and, well, frivolous? Though, generally blunt despite everything.
